¡Bienvenidos! My name is Kathy Norman.I have been at Booker T.Washington since 1976. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Tulsa with majors in Spanish and English and a minor in History. I did postgraduate work at the Universidad de Filosofía y Letras in Valencia España, El Tecnológico de Monterrey, México, La Universidad de las Américas, Cholula, México, and the University of Houston. I have a Master's degree in Spansih Language and Literature from the University of Houston.I also  received a grant from the Fund for Teachers to study Spanish and the rainforest in  Costa Rica for two weeks. Each summer I go to México to study Spanish and to learn more about the culture and history of the country. I teach Spanish 3, Ap Spanish Literature, IB Spanish, and Spanish 2 Pre-Ap.
I am certified to teach Spanish,English,& History.
