Natasha Patz is the 2023-2024 Booker T. Washington High School Teacher of the Year!
Natasha joined the Booker T. team as an English teacher in 2005. She now serves as the department chair for the English department as well.
"I enjoy the students the most. I was surprised at how quickly they become “my kids,” and I love when they come back after graduation to say hi," said Natasha. "I cannot imagine teaching any place else other than Booker T."
She said she had two amazing English teachers when she was in high school who inspired her to work in education. She is passionate about making sure every student feels safe, loved, and welcomed.
