Safe and healthy learning environments

There is nothing more important than ensuring every child is safe and healthy. Every school is equipped with secure entries and video surveillance systems, as well as Safe and Healthy School Committees to help keep our buildings safe. Our See.Hear.Share safety hotline is staffed around the clock for students and families to share safety concerns confidentially and anonymously.

Diverse, inclusive, and caring schools

Diversity is a community and school treasure. With more than 33,000 students enrolled across 78 schools, students find unique learning communities and options you will not find anywhere else. Plus, our teachers are committed to meeting the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of each student, and we celebrate every child for who they are.

Innovative educational programs

Our district is home to the only three public Montessori schools in the State of Oklahoma. In addition, students can participate in dual language programs at 11 schools. We offer three early college high school programs where students can graduate with both a diploma and an associate’s degree. We also offer a fully virtual school experience for students in grades pre-K 12 with flexible scheduling in a self-paced environment.

Free full-day pre-K at all elementary schools

We proudly offer free, full-day pre-K programs in every one of our 45 elementary schools, giving students a head start on developing the skills they need to succeed as lifelong learners.

World-class career and technology programs

We offer 46 career and technology education programs including culinary arts, agricultural education, music production, construction, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, and more! We also offer concurrent enrollment at Tulsa Tech at all high schools with embedded Tulsa Tech classes on-site at four campuses. Students in our career and technology programs can graduate with a high school diploma and industry-ready certifications.

College-ready graduates

Every high school in our district offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and eligible students can earn college credits through concurrent enrollment with Tulsa Community College. We are also the first district in the state to offer a Seal of Biliteracy in 11 languages for high school students who demonstrate proficiency in more than one language.

Top-notch athletic programs

In just the last five years, our high school teams have won 30 state championships, and we offer sports at middle and high school! Our student athletes can participate in 22 different programs including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, wrestling, and volleyball.

Strong community support

Thanks to support of Tulsa voters, bond funds provide for everything from safe and modern school buildings to library books to musical instruments and STEM labs. The 2021 Bond for Tulsa Public Schools is funding new cafeterias for every secondary school, STEM labs for every middle school, arts and athletic investments at every school, safety and accessibility upgrades district-wide, and full interior renovations at eight schools.
