Eight Tulsa Public Schools seniors received $5,000 scholarships from 100 Black Men of Tulsa during their gala in April.
The scholarships were sponsored by Booker T. Washington alumnus Tyler Lockett's Light it Up Foundation.
The scholarship winners include:
- Kymbree Anthony from Memorial High School
- Karmya Britt from Central High School
- Israel Zacharia Deering-Hart from Booker T. Washington High School
- Shekinah Johnson from Booker T. Washington High School
- Malachi Rashaad Jones from McLain High School
- Dina Martinez from Will Rogers College High School
- Camryn Ransburg from Booker T. Washington High School
- Denzel Reed from Central High School
